Kid Lightning

Baby Girl, I'm A Blur.

About Me

Well, my lifelong dream is to be a superhero, and thus I have created an alter ego that acts as such, known as "Kid Lightning". There's even a theme song and everything.

Other than that I'm also a 25 year old 2L at Chicago-Kent who is just trying to experience as much as he can before getting bogged down in a soul-sapping career at some stuffy law firm. This doesn't leave much time for actually getting this law school stuff done, however, so I'm not sure how this is all going to pan out.

Actually, I have a pretty detailed plan for what I want to accomplish, but I don't want to give away too much here.

"To me, a lawyer is basically the person who knows the rules of the country. We're all throwing the dice, playing the game, moving our pieces around the board, but if there is a problem the lawyer is the only person who has read the inside of the top of the box." ~ Jerry Seinfeld

My Interests

Music, law, reading, writing, science (physics, astronomy, genetics, etc.), movies, sports (namely baseball - Go White Sox! - and football - Go Bears!), philosophy (especially eastern), religion (in a curiosity sense as to how it's so powerful, etc.), cereal, cartoons, learning (I'm a big nerd) and probably a lot of other stuff that I can't really name right now cuz it's late and I'm being put on the spot and I don't deal well with confrontation so stop bugging me alright...ALRIGHT!!!

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to meet everyone...if you can breathe, I want to meet you. And if you can't breathe, I want to meet you too so you can tell me how it is that you're browsing my profile from beyond the grave. If you think we'd get along (or wouldn't get along if conflict is the sort of thing you thrive on) then I'd like to meet you.

There's also a bevy historical figures I'd love to meet, including: Einstein, Heidegger, Rilke, Confucius, Lao Tzu, the Buddha, Chuang Tzu, Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Nero, Caesar, Marcus Aurelius, and a lot of other folks of that sort so we could wax philosophical over a few cocktails.

But most of all I'd LOVE to meet this girl:
