When it comes to reggae sound systems, Royal Love Sound is cut from a different cloth. Not following the latest musical trends, they instead prefer to spin the smooth, sweet sounds of roots reggae music.
In the mid-1990s, Royal Love Sound was the official sound system for the Twelve Tribes Of Israel (Rastafarian organization; California branch). This provided an invaluable opportunity for them, as it not only enriched their style, it also reinforced their Rastafarian faith and duty.
Royal Love Sound's lineup includes Marcus "QuickSilver" Reuben, Greg "Digital Dan," and Anthony "DJ Tony Psalms" Joseph.
Always in search of reggae classics, the three DJs have travelled up and down California, and New York, as well as Jamaica, and even as far as Europe. That said, they have been blessed with nuff chune fi mash up di dance!
Although reggae is their specialty, they are not limited to it. With over decades of "operator/selector" experience between them, they can masterfully blend and mix all musical genres--hip hop, electronic dance music, rock and roll, world music--taking all massive, and all crew, on an auditory odyssey.
