An accomplished vocalist of R&B and Hip Hop Soul, Terry Carpenters extensive background in music has allowed him work with the most accomplished talents to date. A native of North Carolina, Terry later moved to New Jersey,in persuit of following his musical dreams. Influenced early on by gospel greats like Fred Hammond,John P. Kee and Commissioned, , Terry grew to love soul legends Stevie Wonder and Donnie Hathaway as well as current stars such as Joe and R. Kelly.Terry found out in his senior year of high school he had a God given talent. Finally, he relocated to New Jersey and met R&B super-star Joe who took an immediate interest in Terrys unique voice.While working with Joe, he went on to tour with him as well as Toni Tony Tone.He then signed to Blackground records and was recruited to a singing trio.Terry also appeared in Aaliyahs video If Your Girl Only Knew.Terry then went on to work with Joshua P Thompson (Tallest Tree/J records) and continued developing his vocal talent.While working in the Tallest Tree camp,Terry sang back up on singles for Tyrese,George Benson,Kevon Edmonds and Mowet.He then was paired up with Writer/Producer F.R.E.A.K also with the Tallest Tree team.Terry and F.R.E.A.K have branched out to form their own writing/production team We Dem Boyz ent. and have completed Terrys first full length album entitled The Missing Piece.Free MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider
