hey there thanks for dropin by my page. I spent most of my life growing up in Rural Norfolk spending many a late night in Norwich.. Until Nov 2005 when me and my girlfriend decided to move to the "big smoke." I have been buying records and mixin since 95' well actually my first djing experiences was at parties me and my mate threw when we were 15, we had a few cds, 7" singles and some rave tape packs... I used to mark the tapes casing with a pen to show when the real got to a certain point, it marked my fav track(with mcs whistles and horns) it was hilarious thinkin back....SUBTONIC was born in Norwich back in 2002 with good friend Juxta P, and Dj Bassics playing old and new drum and bass with no mcs keeping the vibes friendly and funky...Hosting Local talent more regularily than Big namesSuntonic now runs in Camden on the 2nd Sunday of each Month.(SUBTONIC SUNDAZE) playin a wide range of music, from reggae, dub, breaks,lil house, hip hop, the odd weird 7"and of course a generous serving of drum and Bass! all done in an intimate bar, giving off pure house party svibes watch out for the party classics???Subtonic also hosts room 2 at the wicked Rythm Factory, with Moodswing, Nu-Skool Breaks Drum and bass all nightOver the last 5 years i have been lucky enough to warm up for some of my peers,including the likes of Roni Size, Grooverider, Fabio, Goldie, Zinc, Dj Marky,Bryan G,Andy C, Bailey, EZ Rollers, Friction,Q-Project and MCs Jakes, Dynamite, Stamina and Sterlin. promote my own nights and win "Outline Magazines, Young Musician of the East Awards", Leading DJ" in 2004.I also make appearances for other events inc.
