I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V3.6 !
I suppose I should start this off by saying thank you for visiting our myspace. We appreciate your time very much. Now on with the goods. Now on to the real stuff. We've been going through a lot of stuff with the band. We've been to Florida, played all sorts of shows, and have done lots of different stuff. The thing we haven't been doing is caring. Caring about you guys, our fans. We've just been going through the motions, booking shows, playing on a Friday, not caring if we play very much or not, not practicing, basically not being a band. I suppose it would be fitting to call this our formal apology. You guys have put so much into this that we feel guilty for letting you down over the last 6 months or longer. We are here to say, things WILL be different from here on out. We WILL begin to focus as we did when the band first got together. There are some changes being made that are very significant in achieving this.Mainly, Chris Bowerly will no longer play guitar for D-railed. He is just not the fit we thought he was. He is an amazing guitarist and we're sure he will carry on being a guitar God elsewhere. The core of D-railed has sat down and all agreed on this decision. We will begin our hunt for a new guitarist toward the end of January. We are taking some time off to refocus ourselves on our music and hopefully our careers in music. You will still see us jamming at open jams and whatnot, but we will not be performing as a group for a while after the New Years show at the Verve. If you are interested in playing guitar for D-railed, we will be holding auditions around the end of January and into February. We are planning on auditioning quite a few people and no one is excluded. If you have talent, have experience performing music, know your instrument (yes, theory is a huge plus), and are an all around good person, email me at
[email protected], and we will set something up. We do prefer the person be 21+, but exceptions can be made to any of these rules. For our New Years Eve show at the Verve, John Murray from nativemind will be sitting in on guitar. We are going to also try to get Mark Munz (D-railed's original guitarist) to come down from Indy to jam for a set. No word on that right now.Again, we want to thank you and apologize from the bottom of our hearts and hope that we will be able to rock your face again.HulettD-railed
