Imagine a singer/songwriter/guitarist, another (bearded) songwriter/guitarist, a dance dj-cum-engineer, another dance dj-wannabe-engineer-cum-“guitaristâ€, a couple of inspiring sleepless nights, a home studio, a couple of acoustic guitars, lots of imagination, beer and weed and you’ve got the ingredients to make up the pirates from mars.
In detail, this means you get the following crew on board the ship:
S’ ro, keeper of the seven colors of horan – vocals, guitar, magic six tone pipe
Admiral darkstar – guitar, dritar
Sheik’ al’ n’jineer – studio wizard, voices
DC ludwigsdorf – boardcomputer and general band-hooligan
A bunch of friends active in various scenes and projects who happen to share the passion of good music, regardless of genre or origin.
After a first few recording experiments (executed by members 1-3 with a (very) cheap microphone) the outcome sounded rather nice to the participants ears, so it was decided to do a bit more of this, for a laugh. The two dj’s apartment was henceforth abused as the place of plotting the conquer of everything above the number 200 (if you don’t understand, nevermind…) and witnessed the birth of a couple of rather deep and quiet songs.Without any kind of “let’s get seriousâ€-induced outside pressure, things fell together and all of a sudden there was the opportunity to perform.Although each and every participant had experienced numerous stage-appearances, even around the whole damn globe, this was a tiny bit different to anything anyone had ever done before.
At the moment we are working on our studio album, but knowing us, it will take some time to be accomplished. We'll let you know about our efforts as regularly, as we can...
So far our quest has taken us….
P.S: to let you know at least a little bit about our backgrounds, here are some of the projects we have been active in:
