LET'S DANCE!

In early 2005 four friends from the northern wastes of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, a city over-run by brutal crust, gymshort hardcore and freakout indie rock, decided it was time for something new in their music scene. Their answer to the growls, grunts and beards of their peers was LET'S DANCE. The band has re-introduced a sound to their city that hasnt been heard in town for a long long time. Heavily influenced by late 70's punk and power-pop, the band writes fast energetic songs that force their audience to heed the bands namesake demand. Since their inaugural performance Let's Dance has travelled throughout western Canada and played with the Epoxies, the canadian Subhumans and the Tranzmitors. After a couple line-up changes and an attitude adjustment, the band has recently recorded a 3 song EP to be released in the fall. The group plans to tour in the near future, so you better watch out for LET'S DANCE performing in a dive-bar or your sisters bedroom in the near future! ..
