About Me

I was groomed to be a horror fan at a very young age. My parents were very open minded and did not shelter me from all genre of film.The birth of the VCR lead to me spending the 1980s trying to watch every horror film I could get my claws on. A trend that has continues to this day. My writing background stems from two plus years of technical writing. I have been a vender and collector for most of my life. Selling Collectibles at shows, conventions and on the internet. Pricing valuable pieces for collectors and magazines. I have since worked with Tomart's Action Figure Digest magazine as a retail and value consultant. Some of my collection has been featured in the pages of magazines. I also have written articles for Garage Sale Gold and some underground Death metal fanzines in past years. Working as a reference consultant with some toy companies like NECA. I have helped insure that many new horror action figures have the correct detailing and are as screen accurate as possible. I am one of the authors along with Nathan Hanneman on the book Tomart's Price Guide to Horror Movie Collectibles. A full color price guide (Bible) to licensed horror movie merchandise. A must have for any serious horror collector and the only book of its kind to date.Nathan Hanneman and myself are the driving forces behind HorrorHound. We decided to create HorrorHound Magazine as something we wanted to see as collectors and hardcore movie fans that was not being offered. We want this magazine to be a true outlet for the fans to show their faith to the horror movie genre. We also want it to be a strong mix of movie news, collectible updates, film retrospectives, DVD release dates and featured articles. Cult fans and GoreHounds will have a place in the magazine, as we are very passionate about these types of films being included. In my case maybe even more so then the big budget features. So help us out and let us know what you think and what you want to see. Our goal is to be the best and most fan friendly horror magazine on news stands today.
