Business Deal is a music collective spawned from the 1988 collaborations between Smokey Farris and Dirk Michener and their friends in Cypress, TX. Business Deal Records is currently headquartered in Austin, TX and acts as an umbrella to many active bands, side projects and side-side projects of those early efforts. Collaborations in Austin have expanded the roster quite a bit. Business Deal bands release new albums on a regular basis and a compilation of the years best efforts are a yearly tradition.
