Attention Bands!
We now have a page for music and bands. We want to support christian and positive message bands which may not be well known. We love music and we know you guys do too. So if you are a band requesting to add the Christ-Edge page, please go to www.myspace.com/cxemusic . Just know that the music page is going to be geared toward community as well. We will no longer be adding bands to this profile. So when we are looking at our friend requests, we will assume that any bands we find have not read this, and therefore don't care what we are about. We aren't here for free advertising. We will however, gladly add any individuals who are playing for bands to this profile. If you have any questions, please message us. Thanks.

This is for those of you who are like us. Anytime you find a ministry on Myspace, your immediate question is "Hey, what are these guys about?" Well, let me answer that question. Let me tell you what we are about, and please allow me to be as straight-forward as I can. We are about three things: 1) God 2) Love 3)Community
We started a long time ago in our little town in West Virginia to claim something we called Christ-Edge. It was, for lack of better description, a christianized straight-edge movement. Since then it has evolved into an anti-abortion ministry and then to a general ministry. We have collected many Myspace Friends along the way. However, Christ-Edge was always interrupted by something. At every interruption, it changed. Well, here we are. And we hope that we are at our last interruption...our last distraction. This is the next step.
We are refocusing our efforts toward becoming a community. We wish to become a community that seeks God with all our being. We wish to become a community that whole-heartedly loves with the love of Christ. We wish to embody the things that we preach and those things that we hold to with all of our hearts. We do not care about your outward appearance in the least. We care about your heart and your soul. We don't mind breaking down the walls of "scene." We just want to love...we just want God, here with us now. Now, we ask, what will it take to accomplish this community? What will it take to be this thing called Church?
We still hold to that "Christ-Edge Philosophy" of "Don't drink, Don't smoke, No sex outside of marriage; not for our bodies, but for Christ." However, now it is much less of a religious law. We see it now as a sign and a witness to a world around us where it is so easy to participate in these things. May we all be a light in the darkness.
