BURDEN

I'd like to meet:

Michael David Lynch (Director/Producer/Editor) was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Throughout his schooling he always found ways to incorporate video productions for class projects. Before moving to Chicago Mike shot various live concerts and shorts to keep him involved with the filmmaking process. When he arrived at Columbia College Chicago he combined the knowledge learned from all of his experience and poured it into his films. This led to his most recent project where he produced/DP/Edited a $30,000 HD music video; this became an official selection of the UMEC festival in LA. It aired on MTV/MTV2 on April 15th, 2005. It later aired on Fuse, Much Music (Canada), MTV X / MTV Latin America among others. Mike's love for the entire filmmaking process has helped him complete project after project. Now he is currently working on Burden a film that he feels is challenging and ambitious. Since he moved to Chicago he felt inspired to shoot a film within the city that has a lot of heart and Burden allows him to fulfill this long awaited desire. Mike and Greg Tonner are working on the Feature Version of Burden. Mike currently lives in LA.BURDEN PROMO

MySpace.com THE MAKING OF THE HD VIDEO. I have been doing making of's for my films since 2003. Burden is the first film where we have done Video Journals while the film is still being worked on. Burden's first 2 video journals were up weeks before shooting began.
