What's good ya'll. This hot new artist known as Young Byrd, grew up in many different parts of the world. From Arizona, to Alaska, to Tennessee, to Pennsylvania, and finally to Texas. He got introduced to hip-hop at a young age, when his aunt gave him a Sir Mix-A-Lot tape. He instantly fell in love with hip-hop, and growing up that was where he concentrated most of his time. If it was beat boxing for freestyle competitions, or competing in the competitions himself. He was known around his highschool as a jack of all trades, musically. He joined the United States Army while he was in highschool, and left everything behind to go to Italy, and be part of the 173rd Airborne Brigade. This is where he spent the past 3 years of his life. When he joined the Army he lost touch with hip-hop to a certain extent. He didn't freestyle or beatbox for many people, so when he came back from Afghanistan with a demo CD, it blew people's minds. This was what everybody had been waiting for. Now back in Texas, and offically out of the Army, Young Byrd is back on his grind, trying to make a name for himself here. He has been called one of the hottest new producers out there, and an amazing rapper as well, since he does all of his own beats, and writes all his own lyrics.
