WEBMASTER for Troma Entertainment

Troma Entertainment, the world's longest running independent film company, is looking for a dynamic, creative webmaster and web designer to manage their current websites, create material, and build future sites. Position is full time and in house. Applicants must live in NYC area or have transportation to NYC and be available to work on-site in our midtown Manhattan office. Starting pay is very low.
Position Responsibilities:
* Create designs for new projects
* On-going maintenance of existing applications.
Required:
* Experience implementing & maintaining web content
* HTML & Internet/Web Skills (FTP, server includes, etc.) skills
* A firm grasp of PHP, and relational database concepts
* Dreamweaver, visual web developer knowledge
* Adobe Photoshop Familiarity (layers, masks, fonts, etc.)
* Design and Typography
* Ability to manage multiple blogs
* Knowledge of Wordpress Blogging Software
* CSS
* Graphic Art skills
* Effective communication skills
* Self-sufficiency – able to take charge of a task without detailed instructions; to take the initiative
* Honesty, integrity, and an awesome work ethic required!
