(*Name of my music band / project)"The sign of the poet, then, is that by passion he enters into life more then other men. That is his gift -- the power to live... [Poets] have been singularly creatures of passion. They lived before they sang. Emotion is the condition of their existence; Passion is the element of their being, and, moreover, the intensifying power of such a state of passion must be remembered, for emotion of itself naturally heightens all the faculties, and genius burns the brighter in its own flames."

This is the Queen of Happy Heartbreak* c. Nineteen-Canteen. (*Name of my "genre" of music I write when I actually record it according to the way it sounds in my head. Mine... MINE!) I've got the body of a leprosy-riddled demon and the heart of an insatiable carnivore. I live to devour your senses by any means necessary. At least I'll always have my delusions and my art. Delusions are my way of life. Art is beauty immortalized, but people...
Hey ya'll! Well, due to popular demand (from the voices in my head) here's that Erica music page you all have wanted! Current songs posted do not reflect the only genre of music I want to do, but the only ones I have recorded that I did write so far (NOSIS kicks ass! Band motto: "WE PLAY 2 TYPES OF MUSIC: HEAVY, AND HEAVIER!" R.I.P.).
I am an actress / cabaret performer / singer / cartoonist / illustrator / clothing designer / webmistress / graphic designer / doodler / master turd polisher / rescuer of damsels in distress / traveler / rabble-rouser / helpless, hopeless empath / lecher of the addicted and afflicted / all around misunderstood, misinterpreted banshee succubus hybrid. The curse of being talented at so many things is that you seem to stay a bit unfocused. Yeah yeah, if you don't know me, that sounds pompous, but those who do know it took MANY YEARS to even get to the point of accepting a compliment without telling you after wards why you shouldn't have given me one, so deal with my blunt modesty (it took a long time and no years of therapy nor mental meds to get here if that explains anything). So much emotion, so displaced. Viewer Beware. CLICK THIS!
SO, just to explain whats playing on my page now, the songs listed recorded with my previous band NOSIS sound nice and have actual production value and a full band of instruments. They don't sound like how they do in my head in these nice recordings, but so be it, you can still hear them fully developed.
"Eye of the Tiger" is a super duper awesome Erica-ized karaoke cover. YES!
The next more recent song posted (Reign of Tears) are ones that I sat in front of the computer with an animal cracker can bongo drum, and just hot the record button, sang out and banged to. It require a bit more imagination when you hear them as it is just my voice and a faint metallic rapping to accompany them. ENJOY! SPREAD THE WORD about my lyrical prose to your friends! Thanks for your support!

I love this song.
And I love it more when amateurs sing the lyrics.
We'll live it up and love it up amigo.
Incriminating home video performances recorded by Alicia™
Wild & Crazy Cabaret TV Montage Video!
Not sure if this video would answer or create more questions about my mental well-being. Co-conspired and performed by the scandalously talented Sean Vincent Gaff .
I would like to pursue recording the rest of my library, which includes rap, new-wave, opera, trance, funky, punky, rocky, show-tuney things and more. SHOW TIME, SYNERGY!!! Damn, I was hoping it would work that time. I'm working on being self sufficient, since I'm the main (aka, ONLY) person who cares about performing my songs. So far, I've got a mean tambourine and bongo drums skill set under my belt! WILL BARTER FREE ART AND WEB DESIGN FOR INSTRUMENT PLAYING LESSONS OR PRODUCING! YEAH!
I'm not TRYING to be cliche. It's what the survey says:
What Mythical Creature are you? Your Result: Vampire
Are you comfortable in the dark? Love to wander? Find yourself watching people from a distance? Then your mythological creature is a vampire. Secluding themselves in darkness, vampires are often known to posess certain powers of attraction and manipulation over others, especially humans. Vampires often travel among humans, especially at night, feeding off their blood in order to survive. Vampires are known to have the most passionate love lives, connecting with their lover not only sexually, but emotionally, and on a physically dependend level, (the need for their mate's blood.)Vampires are driven almost completely on primal instinct, and because of this, are known to be darker, or evil.
