JAN ACH

The Shakey Jitters!

About Me

Jan Ach was apparently raised by a pack of jackals. Discovered in the jungle and then kept for a time by the Maharini of Cooch Behar. Like so many other feral children, he longed to return to the jungle but had little means to get back. In adulthood he found a guitar and a sampler and now uses the savage instruments to return to the impenetrable thicket.

All of this music has been a long time in the making. Many of you have heard previews of my tracks popping up from time to time. Right now, there is a collection of my best tracks to date. All of these tracks have something to them, "Ways of Talking" has its shotgun break, "Hot Output" swings rough, "The Arm", with the sitar in the background (a guitar actually). "Gum" is something I am really proud of, with its precision simplicity and you gotta love that bass; but they are all special to me, abominations of sound and hardwork; these tracks are little monsters!
