Based in Scotland, have been involved with drumming for quite a wee while. Born in 1975, played in the drum corps of various Pipe Bands and quickly progressed towards the drum kit and all the rock n' roll that comes with it!!
Studied at Strathclyde University for a B.A. Degree in Applied Music then awarded a scholarship to further musical exposure at the world famous Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.
During this Berklee experience, played in groups and ensembles in various styles with many world-class musicians...including Brad and boys from the Metal band "KEVORKIAN" (Awesome) This was possibly the first taste of the dark side of music the Berklee cafe had ever tasted!!..hehe
This led from Boston to New York City to successfully audition and play with American based rock band 'BLISS' who had recently secured a major label recording contract. BLISS extensively toured the Far East promoting their chart topping self titled album with a daily schedule of TV and radio appearances. Throughout the tour, the band recorded several MTV videos and played regular concert dates in The Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and India. On this tour we worked and hung out in Bangkok with the infinately funky and sweet as a pea TOBY LIGHTMAN who has toured with ROB THOMAS and PRINCE etc. (give her a click in my top 8)
On return to UK, teamed up with ex- MARILLION front man ' FISH 'and embarked on a progressive rock tour throughout Europe playing to NATO troops in places like Kosovo and also at fan club conventions.
Also had most terrific tour with American Punk Rockers 'THE PEASANTS' from Boston. On occasion, Europe is lucky to have them around Holland, Belgium, Germany and Austria to promoting their there raw kick ass sound.
Last year played several dates with a U.S. Southern rock band who finalized their tour with an appearance at the prestigious South by South West festival in Austin Texas.
BURACH is another Scottish group. They are an internationally recognised Celtic rock band who perform regularly at major festivals throughout the United Arab Emirates, Denmark, Australia and USA. Their latest album release will be available soon. Recently played at the Oman Highland Games, the Irish Village in Dubai and one of the New Year concerts in Edinburgh at the largest street party in Europe. New cd unstoppable out now....
