About Me

I'm from Oxford,Pennsylvania and I moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to persue my musical endeavours. I attended GIT in Hollywood to obtain a Professional Certificate which really doesn't mean much. What I got out of the program did mean alot to me I feel I really evolved as a player and a person while I was there. I've been in several musical projects but no place(band) that I've been able to call home. I've been playing guitar for 17 yrs most of which consisted of classical guitar but my passion was playing metal. My most recent porject was playing in an All Female Tribute to Black Sabbath called Mistress of Reality you can hear my guitar work on Faries Wear Boots on the Girls Got Rhythm release. I've done country,r+b, gospel, blues, and fusion gigs. I'm currently looking to be a part of an origianl project so please hit me up!!! I wanna settle down with one thing to nerture and watch grow. I'm easy to get along with and very straight forward I just don't like being fucked around. I teach at Agoura Music on Tuesdays and Wedendays, I work at Musicians Institute Thursdays and Fridays, in addition to working the night shift at Target in west hollwood because the bills gotta get payed, need to feed my six string habit, and so I can keep my self from living out of a card board box. I'm looking for places to teach and I'm currently teaching out of my own studio here in good old Silver Lake.

My Interests

guitar, music theory, music history, supporting my local music scene, art, composing, poetry, travel, sleeping, drinking my fav bev New Castle Beer,and not getting killed driving or walking in Los Angeles.

Music:

I love metal old school to whatever's out there now primarily,but I dig anything that grooves.

Movies:

Stars Wars triology not so much the lastest Star Wars flicks, Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Six String Samuri, Go, Blade, old school horror,Pulse, Permanent Midnight, My Own Private Idaho, What The Bleep, Sci-Fi, and Lord of The Rings

Television:

The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Everyone Loves Raymon, Heroes, Malcom in the Middle, All CSI, Bones, Law and Order, Cops, Americas Most Wanted, King of The Hill, 30 Rock, and The Office.

Books:

I really don;t read as much as I should when I do it ususally consisits of music such as Get In the Van by Herny Rollins,and other books about bands and musicians I like.

Heroes:

Sick as a fuckn' dog at the wrong time!!
