.."THEY GOT THE CLUBZ, I GOT THE STREETZ"Wuz up, This is ya boy D.J. Jimmie Hustle. I am a hard working young man that is just trying to do my thang. I am from Jacksonville and recently moved to Tallahassee. So I am trying to see what it do in Tally-Ho. I am a D.J. and have been in the game for two years now. I am blessed to see it become something beyond my dreams. The story behind the hustle: Jimmie Hustle is an eighties baby that was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. On his tenth birthday, his mom took him to Big Al's records and tapes. That was when he brought his first album, Another Bad Creation (the boy group that made the song "Iesha"). Since then, he has brought at least one single every weekend. He had a small radio at the time and would play it loud as it could go. He would played it so much until his dad brought him a real stereo. At the age of fifthteen, He would play music really loud on the weekend and open his window. It would cause parties out in the street with other teens. He was very good setting the mood, even if it was crunk or mellow. His mom saw something in him and ask if he wanted to do something in music. He said yeah, but didn't know what it would be. He always thought of being on the radio, but didn't pursue it.When he was twenty two, His sister was getting ready to graduate from high school. She said she wanted to have a graduation party and she wanted him to be the disc jockey. He looked at her crazy and said why? She told him because you have all the music and I know you can do a good job. So he decided to do it. He got his music together and went in cold turkey. All he had was two regular c.d. players and a two channel mixer from radio shack. But after two hard drinks, Jimmie went from scared to never scared. He turned the party out until people still talk about it to this day. All of his sister friends asked him to do parties for them as soon as the next weekend. So that's what he did, he did parties parties for teens and then started doing parties for adults. Weddings came in the picture as well. Every party was a new challenge, but he still seem to exceed the expectation of his clients. People would ask how long has he been a disc jockey. He would tell them two months. They would never believe him.Jimmie would always say "I was built for this. This is something that I have a passion for." So when he made enough money, he brought certified D.J. equipment and had to come up with a real d.j. name. He didn't know what to call himself. Everything sounded stupid or was already used. His friends called him and asked if he wanted to go out. He told them no, because he had to do a party. Then they said, damn Jimmie, you always hustling. That's when he realized that is the name for him "Jimmie Hustle". Because his is always working hard and on the come up. Since then, He has done numerous amounts of street parties, did a couple clubs and a block parties. His goal is to be a hottest mobile d.j. in the streetz and be affordable for everybody. With his hard work and the grace of god, those dreams will come true.Even though his dreams were coming true, In may of last year, his uncle died of cancer and that situation hurted Jimmie alot because his uncle was an inspiration to him. He would give Jimmie pointers and wanted to know every move he made to become a better d.j. because he was a d.j. as well. Jimmie was still having financial issues and lost his job in march of this year. He didn't make nowhere near enough money with d.j.ing to pay bills. So he was struggling real hard just to make it through the week. He couldn't find a day time job and didn't know what to do. On top of that, people that claim that they was down was slowly fading out of the picture. Not returning phone calls, no telling when the next party is and using him for his talents. So he even felt more alone and just tired of what was going on.Then on his birthday, He recieved a phone call from lady in Tallahassee, Florida. She said that she recieved his resume and wanted to interview him. So he drove to Tallahassee with no money. Went through the interview and was hired on the spot. This was a new beginning for him. So he moved to Tallahassee in June and has been there ever since. Now he is still a disc jockey in Jacksonville and is working on doing the same in Tallahassee. He has learned alot over the past years and ready to take on new challenges. He plays rap, r&b, reggae, old school and gospel. He can keep it very sophiscated or take it straight to the club. However you want it, he can bring it.With god, anything is possible much love JH
