I've been making music under the name of Needle Sharing since 1991. My concept was to produce raw and loud industrial dance music, and yeah I am a huge movies collector and my enthusiasm for motion pictures bleeds into everything I do. Over time, quite a few individuals and friends have been involved in Needle Sharing, yet its essential mastermind is me, Roland Danielzig.
Early on, I started incorporating drum and bass Elements into the industrial elements of my music, eventually resulting in the 1999 release of "WAREZ", followed in 2000 by "Mono Brutal" and the Album "My Kind Came First". There are quite a few individuals who point to Needle Sharing as one of the pioneers of what is today known as hardstep or darkstep. Whatever. I'll let the music do the talking and leave you to make up your own mind.
In the past, I have collaborated with and done remixes for artists such as THE PANACEA, TARMVRED, CENSOR, HYPNOSKULL, KREPTKREPT, S.I.N.A. and many more.
Currently I am working on new material. Watch out for Zombeats heading your way later this year!
