About Me

My heart and soul were constructed on the outskirts of NYC and I carry the pride of this home with me wherever I go. The most important things in my life are my family, music and my writing and everyday I try to factor myself (in regards to worth) somewhere in between it all. I would like the shoebox under my bed to one day be found and have my writings exposed for what they really are---even if they're shit!!! I believe that everybody has some connection with some version of god, whatever they conceive that to be. It could be the mailman for christssake!!! It could be the mail itself!!! If it intrigues you and gives you strength...go with it!!! Dignity is my most reliable safety net so I work daily to cultivate it. I have hardcore values and a somewhat ridgid belief system. If you're gonna be a liar then incorporate it into some sort of creative outlet instead of another person and spare the world your damage. If you find yourself living up to a particular stereotype, try to understand why you're boxing yourself in like that. I play my games fairly because there's nothing more gross than a cheater and nothing more embarrassing than a sore loser. I Allow myself to be ripped off once in a while. It helps me to devalue the power that so many people give to money and reveal it for what it only is: paper! Politically, I'm a liberal at heart but am totally against people getting free rides just because they're lazy. It bugs me that 1/3 of my paycheck is being wasted on a country where my rights are restricted due to my sexual orientation. One of my favorite sayings is "They don't know that they don't know". Understanding this should make all of us a little more gentle in our judgements. Whatever though. Some things, just inexplicably, ARE... make
