About Me

What can one really say here? I am all possibility given to any situation, a poem that has yet to reach a final stanza, the lost dreams of a broken childhood finding light in the concept of being more than just where I came from or where I am headed. I am a pheonix reborn from the pain of the past and the potential of the future. I am the power of searing passion. I am the final smile before death. To me, home is not a place, but the strenght I carry with me so that I may rest comfortably where ever I lay my head. I believe in progress through pain. Hardship is the first key to the creation of beauty, and I intend to use every bit of it to create just that. I attempt the unification of the two with the tattoes on my back like lessons learn, held on to and forever embedded in my skin. I'm an adventurer setting out to enjoy the journey of life with no final destination. Our moment of birth is the beginning of death and the points of possibilities there between I call life. And I intend to use every bit of it, every last breathe, not to fold it up like some chair placed away to make space, but to stretch outward. To not have a plan, but to just create. Flow with the go and remember to enjoy all the crash landings. You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM 's MySpace Profile Editor !

My Interests

Insomnia. Wearin' my life right out on my sleeve, but keepin' my hand close so ya can't see the cards I got at the moment, then playin nothin like I had a pair of kings. Wakin' up in new places. Lettin' people I don't know sleep on my couch. The sound of ambient noise after dark. Thunderstorms so beautiful ya gotta shut up and just watch. Film. Photography. Music. Poetry. Art. Wonderin' where the fuck the art category is on the myspace page. Cookin gourmet shit outta stuff I get from the dollar store. Watchin God paint a sunset across the sky every evenin'. Rough and tumble girls with lots o' spunk and cool cats who like ta laugh and enjoy the times. Trying to redefine words to mean more to me than simple dictionary definitions. Being the dreams I want to be rather than just dreamin' 'em. Maverick Gunslingers, Lone Samurais. Rock-n-Roll Superheroes. Private Gumshoes. Tattoos. Laughin' Dancin' and Singin' cause it don't even matter.

I'd like to meet:

My Muse. And then I'd tell her we have work to do. Much, much more work to do...!

Music:

A music video I directed for one of my favorite groups, Solillaquists of Sound. Check it out on Youtube along with all the other videos at www.youtube.com/group/solilla ____________________________________________________________ __________________________ Here's a bad ass indie radio show from my boy, Danger Granger, back in Oklahoma!___________________________________________________ ___________________________________And if you live her in LA, check out this local blues infused rock and roll group.

Movies:

Best thing in the Theaters right now:__________________________________________________It's a mad house fun fest meant to throw you back into the old glory days of grindhouse cinema where true independent arose. Go see it while they're still playing them together.___________________________________________________ ___________________________________ A classic I finally got to see. I love Vincente Minnelli and this is one of his absolute best. The 1950s where one of the most interesting and dark areas in American Cinema, and this film captures those undertones with a true grace a beauty, even if it does remain a happy Judy Garland vehicle.

Television:

I turned it off.It tends to distract me with stupidity.Right now I need to make things.

Books:

Just finished up "HARDCORE ZEN: Punk Rock, Monster Movies, and the Ttuth About Reality" by Brad Warner. Wow. What a treat. Come on, with a title like that, you have to at least be interested. Well, this is certainly one of the best books on eastern philosophy I've read to date and a funny insightful look into the process of pushing past all the bullshit of life and diggin right into the important part. LIFE. If you dig on eastern philosophy or wan t a fun insightful book on buddhaism, check it.

Heroes:

My pops told me you could tell almost anything ya need to know about a man based on who he aspired to be. Well I'd go with a bit of these two -- the characters, not the actors, although I dig 'em too. ..

Stories is all we got -- Near Death Experiences and the Kindness of Strangers

It all started somewhere back in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I had been morosely meandering through a shitty relationship, a dead end job, and a slipping state of sanity after college. There was ...
