A little bit of everything I guess, I love wine, movies, reading, poetry, karaoke, amusement parks (rollercoasters baby!), Hockey (Caps and Ducks fan here!), horseback riding, theatre, talking till 3am, dancing (like no one is watching), traveling (random road trips-yay!) and anything else you can throw at me!..
adopt your own virtual pet!
Someone not afraid to be spontaneous and wacky, but knows when to be serious. Someone who can enjoy a night at home with a movie, or a day at an amusement park. Best be able to hold up your end of the conversation too! Overall, a friend who is head over hills attracted to me--hehe.
So, thanks to my iPod and some music researching, I have come up with some bands and artists that I like....I'm pretty open so if you think there's something I'll like, send the suggestion my way! I'm weird about music..I like way more than I realize I like..I just don't know the names of anything! But here are my super faves: GREEN DAY, BILLY JOEL, Blue October, Eve 6, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phil Vassar, Jo Dee Messina, Anberlin, The Beatles, Wilco, Powderfinger, Sugarcult, John Mellencamp.....I'm sure there are others...
Princess Bride, It Happened One Night( Oldies and Goodies), When Harry Met Sally, "Definitely, Maybe", Lars and the Real Girl(truth be told I'm a Romantic Comedy girl), The Ring (I like a good scare too), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Little Miss Sunshine, Juno, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Quills, pretty much any Tim Burton movie, I have a soft spot for Adam Sandler movies, Sabrina (with Audrey Hepburn), and kids movies like Monsters Inc. and The Little Mermaid...I could really go on for a long time here...
My interests change all the time in this department but I am currently into: LOST, Family Guy, The Closer, Monk, Grey's Anatomy, Sex and the City, Mythbusters, Brothers & Sisters, South Park, How I Met Your Mother, and cooking shows when I have the time....that sorta sums it up I guess. BUT if it weren't for TiVo I'd never watch anything cause I'm never home when these shows really come on...hehe.
Da Vinci Code (well most of Dan Brown's books), Harry Potter Series, I Know this much is True, anything by Margaret Atwood, Dr.Seuss books, Princess Bride, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, The Frog King, all of Frank McCourt's memoirs, Trash by Dorothy Allison, um....I read a lot. I wish I had more time to read more. I'm currently addicted to books of short stories like the Vintage Book of American Short Stories....edited by Tobias Wolf
