HomeBody
Homebody, hailing from Miami, FL, formed in 2005. After years of playing together in different bands in the Miami area, singer/guitarist Matt Silverstein, bassist Mike Leahy, and Drummer Erik Barnard had become dissatisfied with the direction of the music they were making. Around that time, Matt (then lead guitarist for the screamo band SummerFall) had been surreptitiously writing and recording new songs on a four track. One of those songs, all for you, caught the attention of Erik and Mike, and the three quickly shifted focus. Without playing a single show, they produced a five song Demo, and began slowly creating a fan base with this new music that drew inspiration more from bands like The Beetles, Radiohead, and Saves the Day. Times have changed and Homebody has become a single project again with just Matt working on music to touch the hearts of people of all ages.
PYROJET
Pyrojet is an Alternative / Pop Punk / Experimental from the well known city of Miami, pyrojet has been around for a good year by now and are catching the audiences attention with there catchy background vocals, their lyrics sang with an attitude that give them a sound you cant forget, as for the instrumenst, each song has quite a unique blend of powerful rolls and insane beats on the drumsth, killing bass lines, and catchy guitar riffs. they can go from fast and powerful punk to improvisational jazz and even the disonances of alternative music. if you want a band that'll really catch your attention just check these guys out
WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE DINOSAURS
Saddle Creek Anyone????? Whatever Happened To The Dinosaurs is a an experimental indie band described at best as angry Omaha boys,(and girls people). Their melodic riffs, haunting piano lines, and staggering voices and chants send deep into trance even the most transiently situated people. with the un-forgiving lows and highs given off lead singer joey, its hard to not find interest in the changing tracks as well as the haunting lyrics and mentions of "Black Labs", "Un-explained Sciences", "Cracked Doors", and "Caskets and Skeletons" that adds these mysteriously indied out band mates to the far corners of the music labeling world. I mean what do you do when your lyrics sound like The Misfits, your instruments sound like The Faint meets Radiohead/Cursive, and your vocalist seemingly taught Conor Oberst how to sing?? as of now MPD has moved to Omaha, Nebraska and working on making a scene for themselves up there with the other indie bands working along with them. Whatever Happened To The Dinosaurs. Go check out their song "Broken Dawn" posted at the top of this page, and leave a message or a coment to the band themselves at

ALUD
For the Ska/Politically conscience we introduce A'lud! The 4 way Punk/Ska/Alternative band gives off the feel of Anti-flag distorted chords, while adding their own tasty quick witted vocal tracks that span long from the punk/alternative feel of Valley of The Dead, where their speed and power hits peak, to their melodic and soulful ballad "I Need You..." , and bringing you back to your Ska mentality with songs like "Regalame Un Segundo".
The band covers a strech of melodic, smooth, and funky/crazy guitar riffs, bass licks, and sick drum patterns along with the range of vocal ability that can make you scream the bloody chorus, make you feel the deep compassion, and make you hang at the end of every track, wishing you hadjust a little more. Want more? Check them out at their myspace at http://www.myspace.com/alud1!
Three Beef Burrito
Ska/Reggea/Punk, a band that'll make you come home sweaty from the pits, a band to make you sing, dance, and scream. with catchy lyrics and a ska guitar strum more professional than Bob Marley could do himself, if your into Ska music this is the finest in south Florida by far. The blending of female and male vocals with the mellow but catchy tunes makes for a great listen
Brink Of Something Beautiful
You thought you knew hardcore, you were wrong. Brink of Something Beautiful brings a touch to hardcore music that'll make anyone fall in love, even if your not a hardcore band Brink brings something hardcore music in south Florida has never attempted, melodic vocals and a bit more catchy instrumentals while still keeping the insane feel of hardcore music. The live performance from this band is an "experience" to say the least, One of the greatest perfromers i've ever seen must have to be Tony the lead singer that'll keep you on the edge of your seat with wonders of what he might do next.
