At this space you can meet the alter ego's of the Crumbster...
1. Mr Crumbone: Seriously hooked up on music since he got introduced to electronic dub sounds, acid jazz, techno, acid, house, jungle/drum’n bass, triphop, hiphop, electronica,… This new wide spectrum of interesting sounds was the trigger to start his quest to dig up good music...
Turnhout, the place where the Crumbster lived at that time, wasn’t known for his big music stores, though they have a big flea-market every Sunday where he could find a lot of old records… Funk, Exotica, Reggae, Italodisco, 80s’ hiphop, rare groove… But he also started visiting record stores in Antwerp, Gent, Brussels… to keep in touch with the sound of now…
There also was this festival called Open Tropen (rip) where he was introduced into the amazing sounds of Soukous, Reggae, Salsa, Merengue, Rumba, Cumbia, Afrobeat,…and the infamous Reggae Geel-festival. Both had a big influence on the guy. The positive vibes of this kinda music really intrigued the Crumbster…
So after some years of trying ‘n buying the Crumbster finally feels comfortable to present to u his own Freestyle Files… A tale that changes every day. His sound takes pieces from all over the globe to create a sound that carries the past but also is headin' to the future.
Drums (all kind of…), Hammonds, Fender Rhodes, horns & bass are sum’ of the Crumbsters favourite instruments… Include an electronic touch, a healthy dose of rock’n roll, a bit of ‘spielerei’ & you’ll get a little clue of what you can expect by booking this guy who’s lost in music…

2. Lord Crumb: drum'n bass/jungle/liquid alter ego of Mr Crumbone. Allthough he tried to bring a more diverse sound covering the whole d&b-spectrum, he know returns to his old love: ragga-influenced jungle, dubwise melodies over chopped up breakz, spiced up reggae riddims,...in a soundsystem stylee! You know the drill...
