CONGRATULATIONS TO DAVID COOK..WINNER OF AMERICAN IDOL!!! The moment:I PROMOTE THE GOAL TO: "FIND A CURE" FOR CHILDHOOD DISEASES This interest began early 2006 when young yet bald Chris Daughtry rose to fame on American Idol. From the fan websites I visited I became endeared to another big fan, a little girl by the name of Boey . Boey was herself becoming bald due to a rare CHILDHOOD CANCER ....and Boey loved Chris Daughtry. Boey's YouTube video of her mimicking her "Chrissy" endeared her to millions of fans the world over who would then click to see other videos where BOEY BALD AND BOLD was seen via videos posted all over the internet speaking out to raise awareness of CHILDHOOD CANCER and urging people to support causes to FIND A CURE. ACE YOUNG , another American Idol finalist and best friend of Chris Daughtry not only brought awareness of the battles of WARRIOR NICK , another child suffering from the very same rare cancer as Boey but also began a campaign himself to raise money through the sales of his CD's and other items for the cause. Now even Nick and Boey did meet and become friends. The fans of Chris Daughtry and Ace Young have wholeheartedly joined in to HELP FIGHT CHILDHOOD DISEASES. /br

AMERICAN IDOL No Duh! This year it is rather dissappointing though. I am favoring Blake Lewis and LaKeisha though I think Melinda probably deserves to win. I hate Haley was voted off as she was absolutely beautiful. I am hooked on Smallville. But I also enjoy watching One Tree Hill, Desperate Housewives, Dead Zone, Crossing Jordan, Grey's Anatomy, 24, Boston Legal, Supernatural (love everything about the show except the theme which is lame), My Name is Earl, Ugly Betty, and love What About Brian. Got hooked years ago on La Femme Nikita reruns. But also like any reruns of these shows: Roswell, Sliders, Highlander, News Radio, Fresh PrinceWe have to keep them from cancelling Crossing Jordan.
