Nathan E. Wheeler was born in La Jolla CA in 1979. At age 5 he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life; to become a filmmaker & actor. Over the course of his life he has been mentored privately by professors from University of San Diego, University of California-San Diego, San Francisco State University, The San Diego Old Globe Theater, The International Shakespeare Competition, The San Diego & San Francisco Shakespeare in the Park Festival(s), and Dr. A.M. Charlens of the Royal Academy in London. For the business side of his career he has worked with and learned from some of the best names in their industries, such as the Assistant Vice President of EMI Music Publishing, Vice President of Aftermath Records, Vice President of Death Row Records, head members of the Wu-Tang Clan, Creators of DreamWorks Entertainment, heads of Steven Spielberg and James Cameron’s crews, and even along side Oscar Winning actors such as Kevin Spacey… just to name a few.

In the year 2006, Nathan wrote, produced, directed, edited and starred in his first feature film, “In Exchange”. Since it’s completion he has establish working relationships with such individuals/companies as Mandalay (Seven Years in Tibet, Donnie Brasco), Platinum Studios (Men In Black, Transformers), M3 Productions (Aaron L. Gilbert), Flymar Productions (Jordan Flymar), John MacAveeny (Difi Studios) and Rainmaker Animation (Transformers, Beast Wars, Heavy Gear) are just to list a few.

Outside of his filmmaking career, Nathan as recently been added to the Board of “Watering Seeds Organization,” which has teamed up with Steve Xirinachs of M2000 Corporation, making Nathan a Principle of the committee hired to put together the concerts and events that help raise funds for causes such as the refurbishing of the Statue of Liberty, Katrina Relief, Red Cross, and Troop Support (Not War Support)... example event: “Honor America’s Heroes” concert, located at Camp Pendleton; a concert consisting of acts such as Beyonce’, Tony Bennett, Kiss, Cher… etc. Along with the 70,000 troops that will be attending the concert, there will be 2 million soldiers in 177 countries world wild viewing the event on TV. VIP’s of the event consist of the President of the United States, Governor of California, CEO’s and Chairman’s of many fortune 500 companies, High Ranking Military Officers and even Hollywood celebrities such as Tom Hanks, Dave Chappelle, Mark Wahlberg and many more.

Within the last month or so, Nathan has been asked by the Sen. Vice President of Post Production over at 20th Century Fox to help out on a variety of projects, offering a full gamut of his many talents; from auditions and pilot tests, camera work and acting, editing and more. He is honored and proud to be working with such a company and their creative teams. He looks forward to passing on all that he learns to his students and providing them with opportunities they might not have had otherwise.
