Ian Hattwick

I've spent a long time fighting being a guitarist- first as a jazz musician, where so much jazz guitar is in the pop-jazz realm, and more recently as a musician heavily into electronic music- where guitar is rarely heard at all. Somehow, I've managed to persevere and find ways to express through 6 strings the sounds I am so interested in- and along the way found the things about guitar that I really love. Romantic harmony, jazz expression, rock aggression, electronic textures- there's so much great music to make!
