About Me

You should create your own MySpace Layouts like me by using nUCLEArcENTURy .COM's MySpace Profile Editor !Genuine sentimental emotion shines through on every track from Crash Poetry's " Consciously Bathing," ..from Wisdom Entertainment. Emotional affliction that resolves into a calm after a storm, leading the listener through pitfalls and plateaus of intensity. Also check out the scrupulous vocal execution and chimerical guitars that make up "In Reins," the latest cut, available on iTUNES and mixed by Tim Palmer, @ TIMPALMER.COM (Tears For Fears, U2, The Cure, INXS, Pearl Jam, Neds Atomic Dustbin, Him)Pre-order the album "The Viol, The Violet And The Vine" to be released in Jan, 2008. Crash Poetry was formed in the early nineties, out of Lake Tahoe, spawned from the band Temporary Sun. Joseph Roberts, Sam Matthews and Ryan Adams created Temporary Sun; their sound could be compared to early british bands such as New Order, U2 and Tears For Fears. Crash Poetry was formed when James Roberts entered the band with his shimmering and influencial guitar sound, reminiscent of the early eighties british rock sound. With this three piece assembly, Crash Poetry was born: two brothers, Joseph and James, along with Sam, a friend and musician. Crash Poetry enjoyed radio success on KWOD 106.5- Sacramento; KRZQ- Reno and KOWL in Tahoe. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 95, Crash Poetry met up with a phenominal and somewhat eccentric Canadian drummer, David Jordan; the band has welcomed the addition of David, and been a cohesive unit ever since. Crash Poetry currently live in Los Angeles where they continue to write, record and perform in local venues such as (The Viper Room, The Gig, The Derby, Knitting Factory as well as many others).

It's usually an intense mood that needs to be expressed. The best way for me to express the mood is to make a song of it. -Joseph Roberts
