Suicide Hotline, . . . Please Hold!

About Me

I Arrived in Hollywood and a week later started working in the film industry for Lou and Samuel Z. Arkoff on the Creature Feature series for HBO and Cinemax. With no place to stay, I actually lived at the production studio, on the sets for six months.
Samuel Z. Arkoff, . . . The big boss man of American International Pictures. The man responsible for opening the doors of Hollywood to then unknown producer/directors such as Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola, Woody Allen, Ivan Reitman, Brian De Palma, Roger Corman, and Wes Craven, as well as up-and-comers who later became household names, including Don Johnson, Nick Nolte, Diane Ladd, and most notably Jack Nicholson.
Arkoff's most financially successful film was the 1979 adaptation of Jay Anson's book The Amityville Horror.
I am proud to Follow in a pedigree of some of the greatest filmmakers of our time.
Having worked with the late Sam Arkoff and his son Lou, I learned first hand from one of the industry's legendary producers. Empowering me with five decades of film making savvy.
It was during these back to back features with the Arkoff's and special effects master Stan Winston I was provided the opportunity to work side by side with personal friend, writer/producer/director George Huang, and Directors Sebastian Gutierrez, and Larry Clark. Along with actors Randy Quaid, Dan Aykroyd, Rufuss Sewell, and Carla Gugino.
Following Creature Features I found myself working with industry greats like producer/director Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.

THE ROUNDING THIRD CHALLENGE
I thought it would be fun to create a little contest that would give some creative minds an opportunity to WIN ***$100,000*** and be a part of a major motion picture, what Myspacer wouldn't like that?
This $100k is a portion of my producers salary. Why would I be CrAzY enough to give away part of my salary -- you ask? Because I am extremely confident that no one will ever pull this off. So confident that as an added bonus I will not only give up $100k I will throw in a featured ROLE IN MY MOVIE to boot. That's $100,000 dollars AND a once in a lifetime opportunity to be in a featured role in a Major Motion Picture. So do you think you got what it takes? Do you think you can prove me wrong and overcome the impossible?
If you want to participate all you have to do is shoot me a message and write "I WANNA WIN A $100,000" in the subject line. In the message include an email address I can send a copy of the script to.
Here's your challenge, get the script "ROUNDING THIRD" DIRECTLY into the hands of Matthew McConaughey, Vince Vaughn, Joaquin Phoenix, Ryan Reynolds, John Cusack, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashton Kutcher, Will Smith or Josh Hartnett . . . sounds like a piece of right? Think again. You're going to have to get pretty creative to pull this one off.

THE RULES
In order to be eligible to receive the full one hundred thousand $100,000 dollars the talent has to contractually commit "sign a contract" and begin principle photography. Once these requirements have been met the money will be paid out. And you MUST be an active member of the Myspace community to participate. So if you haven't one already go sign up for a new account it's free.
I sincerely hope you like a healthy challenge because here's the kicker -- you are NOT allowed to go through the talents Agent or Manager, you MUST come up with a creative way to personally deliver the screenplay, the more creative and unusual the better. Once you've concocted your little diabolical plan, go make it happen. But I repeat No Agents and No Managers can have any involvement what so ever. If I find out you cheated and went through the talents representation you Will Be Disqualified, no if's and's or but's about it. I really wanna see some CREATIVITY here.
Also NO STALKING and NO HARASSING the talent or their representation, this type of activity WILL NOT BE TOLERATED and will be just cause for immediately disqualification, not to mention land yourself in front of a circuit court judge who will be more than happy to spank you like a four year old at Walmart. So do us all a favor and take your meds before you go out in public. You know who you are.
Lastly, a lot of people have asked me, what if they brought another actor of the same caliber to the table that's not "on the list" my reply to this is, I will only release the $100k for the names on the list, BUT should someone hit the jackpot by bumping into Tom Cruise and he signs onto the project contractually and starts principle photography, then by all means I will still honor the $100,000 commitment.

Jeff this is a home run of a story and movie.
This is a screenplay that must be turned into a movie. This story must be told!
To everyone reading this site:
Jeff sent me this screenplay to read a few months ago. I took it out of my briefcase while on a plane on my way to HSN. I ended up in tears. I had to put the screenplay down which was hard because I was into reading it deeply. Once I arrived at my hotel I started to read it once again. The words seem to come to life -- each word I read grabbed my heart and touched my life. The characters came to life and the faces became real. I could picture everything.
That is how well this screen play is written. I can see why you want this story on the big screen because it must be told. I think each person whose sees the movie might be a little better of person, and see love and passion for life in a better way. This movie will touch every space in your heart. You will be over flowing with love for life and to be the best you can while your still on earth living and breathing. Bravo, Bravo Jeff!!!!
