Rachael is a 25 year old freelance saxophonist who works around North London teaching as well as playing music. She has played in all kinds of bands in the past and loves every minute of it!!! From classical ensembles, to rock and indie backs back to jazz trios and saxophone quartets, Rachael has just about played a bit of everything going! She currently features as part of a trio with a fellow musos - Helen Sanderson-White and Liz Mitchell. She is also busily rehearsingswith a Jazz Trio - further info on this will be released soon! If this isn't enough Rachael also finds the time to work as a solo saxophonist - playing with DJs as well as being up there on her own for functions and stuff.She's a multi-talented woodwind player and is able to play soprano, alto, tenor and baritone sax as well as flute, clarinet, piccolo, recorder and piano. She is available for session work as well as teaching. She spent time in a recording studio in November 2005 recording some vocal parts for a charity single as well as appearing as part of a choir in 2007 for a charity album (further info to follow). Rachael also appears on Helen Sanderson-White's second album. Her session work includes work for a local functions band demo as well as working for the Sister Company. If this isnt enough she is also currently recording some of her own songs. Some of her tracks have been released here on Myspace and the rest of her ablum is underway.
As well as all the music stuff Rachael is also currently working on her writing career. She has had two short stories published in seperate anthologies (published through www.endpapers.co.uk and also available from Amazon) and is has completed her first fantasy novel. Rachael also writes gig and album reviews for two online websites :)
