Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com
Welcome to the myspace page for The Dizzybirds. The band started as a brain child from all three musicians one wet and rather strange day - probably from all the tea we'd had to drink! Helen, Liz and Rachael had studied music together at Middlesex University, with Liz studying the Jazz course whereas Rach and Helen opted for a more classical based programme. It was also where Rach and Liz found a common ground of being stonking baritone players as well as classy Northern Birds! After graduating in 2005 Liz and Rach still remained close and was when Rach and Helen first began gigging together - performing charts from Helens first album 'Conversations with the Heart'.
Between the three, the girls cover a multitude of musical instruments and countless performances from all genres of music, which was one the reasons they clubbed together. Since spending time recording on Helens second album 'Fallen but Not Fatal', which is due to be released in February 2006 the girls began gigging together.
The band is available for public, private and corporate events. The band is also able to run msuic workshops on many subject - from vocal training or singing for fun, to woodwind workshops and composition and songwriting.
