I'd like to meet:

Non-sessile plants, animals and the shinier minerals. I will talk with potatoes, sugar cane, yeasts and cocoa beans before they are processed into drink though, it seems only polite. Jus as long as they are neither too wierd, nor too boring-I'm tolerant though. People as well, I should really, eh? :-D
In a lot of ways, I've decided I'm an old man, get on with my parents and family in general, quite happy to grow old with a nice women and some kids. Thats not for quite some time yet though! :-D

i loikes it i does miss! all musical types can hold my attention, at the mo im waiting for the nxt new thing i think. i keep listening to old goon shows, primus and 80s so must be! Ow bout 'Wake up' by the Boo Radleys? Theres a cheery tune! any Arthur C Clarke! The 'Tales From the White Hart' collection is very good, light hearted, people tellin stories in a pub-an theyre proper 'one that got away' stories usually too! Te Otherland 4some was very good, I also like all that Alistar Reynolds has done. Ive been introduced to some Warhammer stories that mildly reached a spot. Julian May of course. Greg Bears' Blood Music! Gregory Benford, Stephen Baxter, Anne Mcaffrey not so much these days though. Manilla Galleon-F.Van Wyck Mason. The 'Ender' books. The Boat of a Million Years-Poul Anderson. The Forever War-Joe Haldeman. Galactic Pot Healer-Phillip K. Dick. War of the Worlds-H.G.Wells! I could go on-I used to keep a record of books I'd got from the library, and I used to get a LOT!
Voyage by Stephen Baxter, a 'what if JFK hadn't died' from a NASA point of view, one of the best books I've ever read!!!!
