The band Damn Shark was formed in november 1995. This band arise by an idea of Mary Jane's ex-singer, Adrianne Axe. Hed wish his own band with peculiar sound in heavy metal style. The band was influenced by Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Helloween and others always with heavy metal trendy. In 1996, the band taked part in a tribute to Black Sabbath. A year later, in 1997, they were called to take part in a homage to Metallica's dead bassist, Clif Burton. The songs ofDamn Shark are about legends and personal memories of each member in metaforic means. Their first local tour was called Era Of The Dark. The people recapitulate 3 thousand 500 fanatics into heavy metal sound, just in eight places. But, in their last show they congregate a thousand 700 people. Later, in november, they were called to be the supporting band of Blind Guardian but they cant made this show cause they were on tour. A month later, in december, they were invited to be the supporting band of Helloween. In these show, they received congratulations by germans. The members of Helloween said: "you are a real heavy metal band". Damn Shark show their esteem to germans when played their own version of Dr. Stein. Again, all members of Helloween acclaimed to Damn Shark. 1999 was an intensive year. Two local tours called Happy People Tour and You Are Amigo Tour. After tours, they were the supporting band of Angra. Andre Matos, ex-singer of brazilians was happy when he were invited by Damn Shark to sing with them the old 's song, Living For The Night. Era Of The Dark II Tour started about different places. They taked part into Belfegor Fest at Hard Rock Live, playing with Souless Domain, Men at Arms and others. In march of 2000, they were invited by Alianza, formed by Adrian Barilari and Hugo Bistolfi, ex-members of Rata Blanca from Argentina to play with them in the Mega Fest Open Air. New tour called Definitive in 2000 was a prophecy. They up to great place into heavy metal world. Their name goes to other places in Mexiko, Europe and South America. They were invited to play with Gamma Ray. They received congratulations by Kai Hansen and he invited to Damn Shark to visit Europe. Almost to end 2001 year, Damn Shark was invited by Therion in their mexican Runes Tour, but shows of both, doesnt coincide. The tour of Damn Shark was canceled by terrorist attacks in New York at september 11th, 2001. Promotors in USA and Europe don't want to risk the members band to fly. Paul Di'anno, ex-singer of Iron Maiden, invited to play with him at Mexico City's show. During 2004 Damn Shark have some shows, one of them will be Before Death Fest, they will show with Metal Church, Death Angel and Mayhem. In 2005, Damn Shark was playing with many local bands and making changes in his line up. Now after a sabbathic year Damn Shark returns with a tour in South America...
