Well, I would say that I have a lot of interests. This past Summer I painted quite a few pictures -- and took a class in water color painting. I read a lot, too, more than in most years I would say. Many days in the Summer are spent just lying in the sun at our beach at Wadsworth Cove in Castine. My sea glass collection is coming along and i have collected some strange shape rocks, too (Ask Carol Lovely about two I found one day). I love to eat in nice restaurants with friends. I love dreaming and plotting to make wonderful things happen for myself and nice people. I love ethnic celebrations of all sorts. I enjoy listeming to all kinds of performance music. And I like playing guitar, myself, and singing, too. A big pleasure of mine is film. Did I say I like to talk? I adore good conversation. I love philosophy and deep discussions that go late into the night with my friends. I am a life long enthusiast of languages, culture and would love more travel even more than I do. Almost daily I study The Tarot and Astrology. I have studied both for many years. The "double deck Tarot" is an idea I have developed. Point of Substancia is what I currently examin most in Astrology and joint destinies. I draw with pencils and I write some fiction -- and an ocassional Astrology article for Publications. I garden, mostly perennials. I love to cook (primarily Greek or Mediterranian) and feed the ones I care about. How about coming to my place for dinner, a movie, some wine and some conversation? Every Sunday I read THE NEW YORK TIMES from front to back. I am a Life Long Democrat and am completely Pro-choice. I was Baptized Greek Orthodox, but I practice no organized religion these days. Now tell me about you and what you like to do?.. "groups.com/girlwhoismystery"

I WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU, SWEET AUTHENIC YOU!!!****************************************************** ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ***Wonderlands are lovely places to visit, but you can’t live in them; however good and necessary it was for you to be at the tea party, and you will never doubt or deny that it was the best and most necessary experience of your life to be there, you still need somewhere to go when the party ends. The story of Wonderland, as far as Alice is concerned, may have begun and ended with her trip down the rabbit hole, but the story of Alice herself didn’t; Alice had a childhood, a life that shaped her into the girl that could go to Wonderland and survive it, soak in its beautiful, frightening, glorious, dangerous, intoxicating, sublime strangeness, and come back a much stronger and wiser person for the experience — and her life went .. Wonderland, too, for the only reason it could: because it had to. “To be or not to be†is indeed the question — when all else is said and done, the only question that really matters — and Alice, I like to believe, chose to be. To grow up, to become a woman — to quietly, simply, unremarkably, and happily keep living her life, finding a truer and deeper wonder in what she had all along.****************************************************** ******* "groups.com/girlwhoismystery"

********************************SOME FAVORITE WAITS WORDS ARE
**** **** (Tom Waits/Kathleen Brennan 1992)Over here the ladies all want sweet perfume
But there's never a rose
And over the roses are frightened to bloom
So they never can growAnd over here they need wool
For weaving their baby's new clothes
But nobody has any wool
And the sheep are all lost in the harbour
Lost in the harbourAnd over here they want diamonds to wear
But there aren't any here
And over there everyone's hiding their tears
But they're crying insideAnd the wall won't come down
Till they're no longer afraid of themselves
And if you don't believe me ask yourselves
And then I can come down to the harbour
Down to the harbourAnd then I will fill the ocean back up with my tears
I still have a couple more years
And then I can come back to the harbour
Down to the harbour

I read a huge anthology on Reincarnation. I am reading a funny memoir called THE GLASS CASTLE by Jeanette Walls, and I just read a funny book on cadavers called STIFF. I loved reading Bob Dylan's CHRONICALS. Psychology fascinates me and I am busily reading a lot about Narcissim. So I read both fiction and non-fiction I guess.

*****************************************I do have a hero. And he probably knows that he is my personal hero. He is a wonderful and brave human being. He gave me a new way to see the world and revived my flagging spirit. He presented me with a situation where I could love again, and, better yet, be truly loved again. The best part is I learned to love unconditionally in a romantic relationship. This had been something I thought reserved only for Mother and Fathers and their children. He helped me forward with my life, so I could bloom again in this lifetime. I learned the meaning of true love. Although it had its Romeo and Juliet aspects, ultimately he caught my heart before it hit the ground once. I remain in gratitude and awe of his deed for all my lifetimes. He is Heroic in the truest sense! ************************************************************

****************She started a blaze from one tiny spark, I didn't even detect. She loved the light, was dismayed by the dark - the stars though she seemed to respect. The faint light that flutters at night to the earth, would land in her eyes and collect. Luminous creatures she'd find in the surf, I never thought to inspect. Pebbles and marbles like things on my mind, seem to get lost and harder to find. When I am alone I am inclined (if I find a pebble in sand), to think that it fell from my hand. She gave me ideas and planted the seed - but she never stopped to reflect. The course that she's on, wherever it leads I never would redirect. Pebbles and marbles like words from a friend, make us hold tight but are lost in the end. When we're alone we all seem to tend (if we find a marble in dust), to wish someone left it for us. ************************************************************
