"underdogs" Def: Noun: (i.e.) "anyone not born with a silver spoon in their mouth who defy the odds and contribute postively toward personal or social change" (Me, 2006).Other Heros: Dad and Lela. Both battling cancer together after 30 + years together. Even in their weakest moments (physically, emotionally & financially) i've never heard either of them carry on with self pity and endless complaints. They are truely an inspiration as individuals and as what a loving lifetime partnership can look and sound like.
