The Fjiords are a Detroit band of members from various musical backgrounds that mesh together to form a unique musical style that is distinctive, eclectic, and can be interpreted in many ways.
On what started out as a solo project for singer/songwriter Dan Wimpari, the debut album ‘Songs About You’ was created as somewhat of a theme album, taking the listener on a voyage that spans all the different stages of a relationship – from newfound love, courtship, lust, longing, betrayal, heartbreak and despair.
Never content to rest on their merits and constantly looking to expand and evolve, the band is already working on new material that will take them in new and different directions from ‘Songs About You’.
