A. Souto

I'm an acquired taste. You don't like me? Then acquire some taste.

About Me

I've been called a thug-mystic who dabbles in man's shadow nature, a warrior-poet with an awfully sick sense of humor, a modest narcissist, a humble megalomaniac, a sociable sociopath, and of course (many, many times) an asshole.
Maybe I should smile more often?
I do admit, my belt-buckle reads DICK, because ASSHOLE wouldn't fit.
Anyhow, my real name is Adel (old German meaning "noble"). My heritage is from Spain and what I am is a man of many extremes, a vegetarian though not hippie about it, a warehouse for many once-broken bones who still rides a motorcycle (without a helmet might I add), a self-confessed book nerd, cultural terrorist, small-time record label mogul, a prankster who doesn't take himself too seriously, horticulturist (that means I know my shrubbery), DJer of rare tunes, trader of rare films, a registered Tae Kwon Do black belt, an avid x-rated polarioder, lead singer and one hell of a trouble-maker.
Lastly, I write . I write lots. I write for magazines, I write for friend's fanzines. I scribble my fair thoughts with Shakespearean eloquence, and top it all off with beatnik lingo. You dig? So, if you like to read... hell, I write.

My Interests

I love to read. In one week I'll read books and magazines by the dozen.
I love to write. I write articles on esoteric knowledge, serial and mass murder, pop culture trivia, occult subjects, conspiracy theory and kook science: feastofhateandfear.com
I love music. I have more vinyl than most people have CDs, and have way more CDs than vinyl, so it's quite a library.
I also play in a few bands and side-projects just to travel and release aggression. I have played with Timescape Zero, Sound 4 Sound, None Dare Call It Treason, The Goslings and many more.
I love film. I collect and trade underground film, rare flicks and trash cinema.
I love the outdoors. Once every so often I hitch-hike through different states, or go camping out where civilization is far, far away.
While, finally - and don't laugh - I also collect coins and stamps.

I'd like to meet:

Most everyone... just don't bore me.
Scratch that! Just don't piss me off.
Anyway, I don't want to meet you...
so much as I would like to meat you.

Face it...

Adel really only cares about himself .
