T-Boogy: Hip-Hop's best kept secret Born on the West side of Chicago 21 year old M.C. T-Boogy plans to make a huge impact in the music industry. He has been rapping for over 11 years and was heavily inspired by Notorious B.I.G., Nas, and most of all Jay-Z. When asked about his music he expressed "that my music is a reflection of not only his environment but also the emotions that human beings go through on a daily basis". When asked about Hip-Hop today he said "the lack of creativity and unoriginality is a concern to him and that too many times artist hop on the band-wagon and that takes an element of honesty out of music. Everybody that sells drugs is not a rapper and every rapper does not sell drugs therefore every artist should not have the same agenda". As an artist his aim is to bring "the real" back into music, it's better to be real with yourself because if you're real with yourself you can't help but be real with your audience". T-Boogy is very proud of the city he comes from and hopes his music will help bring more attention back to his home and the talent that resides there.
