My name is Sterling Brim aka Dat Dude, aka Smack Ya Favorite DJ, aka Man Im Fly, aka Mr Big Things Poppin, Naw Just kidding. I currently work for Songbook/Atlantic, and 107.5 WGCI (Clear Channel Chicago). I have been put on this earth by the Lord to make people smile and upgrade music. My love for music started at age 1 when I would listen to Sam Cooke, Lenny Williams, and Teddy Pendergrass with my Father. My love only continued to grow from there. I started playing the saxophone at age 7 had a brief intermission for sports but then continued my love when I met Wynton Marsalis in 2001. Wynton promised me a saxophone and the next week when I arrived back home from LA it was waiting for me. I have done it all from acting to modeling, and anything in between. I had a principal role in the movie Hardball in 2001. This played a huge role in my life and set me up for my future careers in the industry. That’s when I met my best friend Michael B. Jordan. We were cool as youngns and have been bestfriends since. I currently work for Songbook Entertainment with such artist as Trey Songz, Brandon Hines, Joshua (Fatty Koo), and Frank Nitty. With the best producers in the game BeiMaejor, Versatyle, and (Founder and CEO) Troy Taylor. The year of 07 will be a big one for Songbook Entertainment. Mark my words..
