David played on his first drum set at the age of 13, after attempting to play piano and guitar. After playing with several friends and garage bands, he started his own band, Concealment (Filipe -vocals and guitars, Paulo - bass). He was 14 years old. In 1999 David was involved with another metal project, a band called Disaffected where he played next to his sister, Fátima Jerónimo.
His first professional experience was when at the age of 18 he started playing with Toy and making several tour dates. Later, he became the resident drummer for the TV show "Tic Tac Milionário". David also participated in the 37th "Festival da Canção", in 2000, with the band 100nome (which is now named Sangue Azul).
With Concealment David had the chance to play with some relevant metal bands such as Sacred Sin, Grog, Dismal (Spain), Decayed, Disassembled, Ramp, Reaktor,Hed pe and Mnemic at places like Marquês da Sé, Rookie and Ritz Club, Paradise Garage, Hard Clube, Coliseu Micaelense. And in 2000 Concealment was considered one of the best new band in heavy music in Portugal.
At 21 David started playing more seriously with the artist Christina Q in a covers band named Splash, and playing live at almost each and every club and main stage in Portugal.
In 2002 David records his first record as a session drummer with a band called Siddartha that was produced by Miguel Camilo. After that, he joined Miguel’s team and recorded tracks for some of his works, such as Time Line, Hugo Jerónimo, Christina Q, etc.
From then on David proceeded his career as a professional musician and played alongside names as Luís Moreno, Siro Bertini, Rui (Ruca) Rebordão , Dikk , Tó Yoli, Nuno Oliveira, César, Miguel Camilo, Jozé Martins, Nio, Pedro Brite, Pedro Martinho, Ramires, Sérgio Paulo, Miguel Magic and many others.
In 2004 David was the resident drummer and a cruise boat (Paquete Funchal) through the Mediterranean Sea. On the next year David played with the artist Gonzo and the artist Jorge Vádio (with whom David played a live tour including the inauguration party of the label Maria Records, owned by Rui Veloso, a concert that was broadcasted live in Antena1).
In early 2005 David played at the Auditorium Beatriz Costa as the drummer for Time Line, in the summer made a tour with the artist Gonzo(Ex excesso)
In early 2006 he maded a very important tour with Starvan in Japan were he played in important places like : Club Phase at Takadanobaba - Apollo Theater at Nagoya - Sunsui at Osaka - Rips at Hachioji - Eggman at Shibuya and for last they played in the most important main stage at Tokio for 4000 peolple, this gig was broadcast at the MTV Japan with an full exclusive interview from Starvan - Studio Coast - MTV/ Japan Street Calling 2006
During the year 2006 David played more than 80 shows with the artist FF, the more relevant were - Lousada(more than 23.000 people), Summer Festival(with Balck eye Peas) , Madeira Live(with Juanes), Lisbon and Porto Coliseum. Recorded the FF live tour 06 a live CD and DVD.Played at Paradise Garage and Hard Club with Concealment.

Early in 2007 David recorded drums,at GeronimoStudios, for the 2nd FF..s album(A musica Nasce), with the producer Jozé Castanheira. Concealment realese is debut album in jully and made a tour with Mnemic, payed 7 shows including - Coliseu Micaelense in Açores. Played more than 50 shows with FF, the most relevant was in Pavilhão Atlântico.Recorded some track for the upcoming artists Soulmates.Concealment "LEAK" as being very well accepted by the portuguese press:

According to the biggest portuguese metal mag, LOUD! Magazine, Concealment charted an awesome second place as the most played artist on metal radio shows during the month of October. This chart includes national and international artists, and is topped by Moonspell (distributed and promoted by Universal Music).

In January 2008 one of the biggest and most influential portuguese metal blogs (SoundZone) held a "Best of 2007" poll, to which the readers responded with the following results:

Musical Event of the Year: Alta Tensao Festival in the Azores (with MNEMIC, REAKTOR, CONCEALMENT and FORGODSFAKE).
