I made a huge mess of my life and have become a total Jesus freak since I got to know Him about 10 years ago, because He loves me and has forgiven me and saved me and given me new life. I couldn't help but fall head over heels in love with Him and realized that He was what I needed all along. I have a wonderful family and that includes my husband, children, grandchildren, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. I have the best inlaws in the world and love my church families. Not to mention a lot of great friends. All this hype about violence, gangsters, drugs, sex, depression and self mutilation is a pathetic demonstration of how we try to ACT like we are cool and nothing is wrong but really everything is wrong. We don't want anyone to know how hurt and scared we are so we act tough, do drugs, drink, have promiscuous sex etc etc etc...then feel shame and hopelessness because those things are not really making us feel better. But we won't admit we need God, so we have to promote all the things we are doing so that we feel like being in the majority will make them right.....we push it on the kids....push it on our peers....all efforts to convince ourselves that we are OK and don't need God. SAD!!! ..
