About Me

Hello, I'm Paul from The Voodoo Trombone Quartet.
I made an album that Nick Hollywood, that nice man from Freshly Squeezed, put out. You can buy it at all good record stores, both online and offline, or in digital format for your portable music whatsit at a bunch of places, including iTunes. Here's a handy button that you can click if you want to buy it, which looks like this:
You can also buy our theme tune to MTV's The Paper, which is called "Medium Wave" by pressing this button here:
For more info see: Freshly Squeezed Music .
Some of my music is on compilation albums in Italy and Japan. Some of it has been used as theme tunes to programs on Radio 4 and 6music. Some of it has backed the news on 5Live and the Chelsea highlights on Smooth FM. Some of it got played on the radio and some on TV. Davina McCall has even worked out before and after her pregnancy to the VTQ. Some of my music made people tap their fingers on the train or in their car. And some of it even got people to dance in nightclubs.
And now I have a proper band with real people too. I've got my old friends Frank and Matt playing drums and bass, Liz Mitchell on saxophone, Nathan Thomas on French horn, Chris "Spesh" Maloney on guitar, Richard Watts on trumpet and Patrick Symes on trombone. We've played at all kinds of places including Ronnie Scotts, Glastonbury and Bestival.
So, I'm working on another album now. It's taking a while, but it will be champion when it's finished.
Paul.
