"While he may not have the ink of other DJ’s, he’s certainly got the experience that many do not have. Having held numerous residencies in the cities where he has resided, DJ Genesis has a flair for the decks like no other. Having styles that range from the dark and sensual to sexy and bangin’ to classics with an edge, DJ Genesis has the ability to bring the tunes to the people on the dance floor no matter what your tastes. With the ability to mix in these different styles, listeners are always in for an audible treat they won’t soon forget.
Over 5 years ago DJ Genesis begun his climb through the ranks of Houston DJ’s, training under such Houston notables as DJ Mike Snow, DJ Wes Wallace, and DJ Michael Degrace, he has a style that is rarely seen these days. A love for the music and for the people in the clubs, DJ Genesis focuses on the crowd he has in front of him above all else believing that he is there for one reason and one reason only, the people.
In his years in Houston he was not only resident DJ at Club 1415, but also became part of the management team and helped turn the club from 5 star restaurant to one of Houston’s most popular nighttime attractions. He has shared decks with such DJ’s as DJ Keoki of Club Party Monster fame, DJ Skot formerly of Haujobb, Absynthesis, Colonel Clique, Breye7x of Provision, DJ Tommy Sunshine, and many more. He’s worked with such notable groups as The Azoic, Provision, Vertigo Blue, Luna Tex, Brio Kids, Asmodeus X, System Syn, Imperative Reaction, and many more. In 2005 he helped organize Digital Love, a fund raiser for the Indonesian Tsunami alongside many of Houston’s great artists and musicians.

Today he resides in Hollywood, CA creating and implementing audio for one of the world’s largest game publishers, Midway Games, as Project Audio Director. He’s a founding member of up and coming Electronica Act, Phase Theory working alongside Producer/Singer/Composer, Kirk Grahman and Composer/Songwriter, Jonathan Kramm."
Recently he has begun work on his latest endeavor, Sky Captain Genesis and the Clockwork Angels. This project is a Steampunk oriented group that centers around stage performances with music supplied by Dj. The current iteration see's the employ of other group's music but will soon be moving into original compositions done by DJ Genesis as well as collaborations with other artists and DJ's.

In My Own Words:
I believe that if you can dream it, you can do it. Plain and simple. It seems most people want it all handed to them these days. So few people have the intestinal fortitude to get out there and make it happen for themselves. In our instant gratitude society, the idea of hard work seems to have faded.
Everyday I try to work to make my dreams a reality. Why do I do it? Because I have the drive to and the want to and I can see the success I can one day have if I only suffer now. I believe that character is made not by your upbringing alone, but on how you live each and everyday. I don't believe money is the root of all evil, but I do believe it's not the spice of life either. Some people will tell you that you can buy everything you want with money and they're right. But it's not real. To go out and earn those same things by working hard and shining, then those things you've earned will be there for all time for all to bear witness to.
Who am I? I am the one that you'll one day know. I'm a realist and a dreamer. I am the exact center of the two sides. I create and breathe life into new and wondrous things. I am the music man.
