Dj Infam0us for President 2008!!!

Tell me what really matters? Is it the money and the fame, or how many people might eventually know

About Me

Welcome to the online projects page of Dj Infam0us
I am a regular patron of DarkRoom in Fayetteville (aka Fayettenam) Arkansas.
The DarkRoom is held at the DartRoom on college in Fayetteville (aka Fayettenam). The play lists spun in this venue mainly consist of Goth-industrial, darkwave, and darkmetal. Though the diversity spans many more types of music those are the main stay of the venue.
I write reviews of nightclubs, restaraunts, and movies when I have time and promote local events online. My main goal is to bring more awareness of local music and art through the use of the internet. I guess you could say I'm an online promotions whore.
Personal stuff:

Name: Jinx, Bobby, The infamous, Dj Infam0us
Why Infamous?
Because even when I don't want it to (often ESPECIALLY when I don't want it to) my reputation precedes me. During the course of my tenure in the gothic community of dallas I aquired a rather large name for myself that revolved around rumors, inuindo, and of course drama. Because of these rumors and what not in that area I became infamous, or regarded as known for being trouble (Voted biggest @55hole on TCB two years running, don't ask).
I was also well known for getting the job done when it came to gathering resources, getting promotions running, getting information distributed, getting the right people in the same room at the same time, putting together succesful events even when it was said that it could not be done, dancing like drunken martial arts master and of course drinking entire too much (which often led to the dancing bit).
Origin: I actualy originate from fayetteville, but I spent most of my teens and early twenties in dallas getting myself deeper into the subcultures there and often deeper in trouble. My musical roots are varied and my community experience is ... well... long standing.
I cut my teeth so to speak at The Church in dallas. I started attending that venue in february of 96, and have been a regular on and off there until now (the drive is a bit far). I say on and off because sporadically I became homesick and came back to fayettenam to be close to my family. Those breaks seldom lasted longer than six months, and if they did frequent roadies to dallas ensued.
I love my dallasite cohorts.
I have enjoyed the assistance and company of some of the most talented Djs, organizers, promoters, and artists while working on projects in both Dallas and Fayettenam upto and including but not limited to:
Djs
Dj Bludston (One angry elder goth with a great ear for hard beats)
Dj Massaker
End: The DJ (The headlining Dj for the DarkRoom and person MOST responsible for the proliferation of the dark community of fayettenam.)
Azreal (A great mixer of old and new tunes.)
Anthony Bale (Bringing the VERY BEST of the old school tunes I love.)
Dj Silent Mike (Old school techno head gone dark.)
Dj Apocalypse (The first Dj to give me a shot at promotions. My boy Pocky.)
Cyberina Flux (kick ass dj extraordinaire)
Dj Per (formerly Dj FloorClearer. One kick @55 name if I do say so myself)
Dj Joe Virus (Headlining Dj for The Church)
Dj Zazou (Who's still a fag.)
Dj Ragnarok: (The epitomy of Class.)
Dj Son of Sam (Who always has shots to go around)
Dj Insect (and his hive of merry men)
Dj Empty X (Whom I havent seen in WAY too long.)
Bands, Groups, Projects
The Corset show 2006
Dj EternalDarkness in Fayettenam
Unit Code Machine (who's demo I still haven't returned cuz I'm a tard.)
Spiderlegs (Who needs to get his new stuff finished so I can get it spun at the new venue.)
Hungry Lucy (Who completely rocked at Division One)
CruxShadows (To whom I am completely addicted now)
Solumn Assembly (Joe Virus and his crew)
Amelioration, Gothball, and various other projects at the Church in dallas (An amazing Venue)
Ok, there's other stuff, but frankly I'm tired of looking it all up. That's the gist of the stuff that I've been involved in. Hopefully there will be a list longer than that relating the fayetteville area soon.
