Birmingham's Fur create an urgent and darkly atmospheric indie-rock sound quite unlike anyone else. Some creative guitar work, synthy keys and punchy beats combine with Luke’s distinctive, melancholy vocals for a satisfying whole. Performing with confidence they maintained a solid stage presence as they blasted through some really well put together material. They bring some good ideas into an edgy sound; it should prove interesting so see what they can come up with in the future.Birmingham based indie- rockers Fur have got a fresh, interesting sound. Primarily a guitar driven band, with added dancey synths and an Ian Brown-like vocal. The synths bring a whole new dimension to their sound and provide a memorable and distinctive feature of their performance. An all-round tight performance, vocalist Luc stood out as an excellent front man, at the head of a talented band with some solid ideas.
