21 year-old beatmaker, aka BIEF GIRL aka FABRICA DE HITS aka ELITE aka YOUR FAVORITE RAPPER’S IDOL
Desde Oviedo, y con apenas 21 años, Freestyla (Adriana) lleva situada desde hace un tiempo como una de las abanderadas del nuevo sonido del hip hop español, ya no sólo como beat-maker sino como beat-maker femenina. Con 15 comenzó a emular a los aparatos a parte de sus ídolos, y de forma autodidacta empezó a crear pistas entre la gente de su ciudad. Su primera referencia seria sería la promo del madrileño High Standing, en el 2005, siguiéndole otros trabajos en la demo de DG aka Da Wizard, el recopilatorio de R&B español OFM The Misteips, y sobre todo en De2 de RPD, donde firmaba 11 ritmos. Perteneciente al colectivo BFS, de donde son los propios RPD, y que es considerado como uno de los más potentes de toda Asturias, su primera oportunidad profesional llegaría con el corte R&B uptempo Bailaconmigo dentro del LP de Flavio Rodríguez, recibiendo una muy buena acogida que posteriormente le haría firmar con uno de los sellos más importantes a nivel nacional y al estar preparando más de una decena de proyectos a gran nivel dentro y fuera de nuestras fronteras. Su estilo mezcla de la predilección por Timbaland y Jodeci, el R&B 90’s y el sonido más estrictamente club y soft-electrónico hacen de sus beats unos de los más calientes que hay actualmente en la escena española. Born and raised in Oviedo, 21 year-old Freestyla (Adriana) has already made a name for herself as one of the freshest young guns in the spanish production scene. At the boards since her fifteens, she soon began working with friends in her hometown ‘till she dropped in 2005 her first “official” production on the Madrid’s own High Standing project. Then cuts on the DG aka Da Wizard demo came out, as well as the Spanish R&B mixtape “OFM The Misteip” and especially RPD’s demo “De2”, producing 11 beats. Reppin BFS, along with RPD, as one of the hottest crews in Asturias, her first professional opportunity came out with the clubby R&B track “Bailaconmigo”, off of Flavio Rodríguez’s “Flaviolous” LP, in stores now. Then, thanks to the recognition of this track, she signed to one of the biggest urban music labels in Spain, and now she’s already working on lots of national and international projects. Mixing Timbaland and Jodeci sound, 90’s R&B and club-electronic music as her signature, her beats are now seen as some of the hottest in the scene. And that’s just the beginning…
