...real name, no gimmicks...a Berlin projectile driven by the powder of afro-american heritage, now presents his 2. solo LP "06.06.06", to cut a new page to the history book of german Hip Hop.
Since 1995 he has been part of the movement, starting out with his partner Harris, creating the legendary formation Spezializtz, which released 2 classics, GBZ oholika on Sony/Columbia & GBZ oholika II on Def Jam Germany, and gave a record breaking 180 shows per year before they went separate ways to extend the boundaries of experience.
Now after 7 years they finally got back together to complete the legendary Trilogy, released by Four Music. Supported by Germany's most influencial Artists like Afrob, D-Flame, Samy Deluxe, Sido, Gentleman, Xavier Naidoo & Azad, "G.B.Z. Oholika III" is definitely showing everybody where they are coming from. Keeping it raw over Beats from Montana Beats, Bock auf'n Beat, Beatgees, Lex Barkey, 361 Musix, Beathoavenz, Dub & Beanzz, Ramon & Omar, it prooves the dynamic duo is still in full effect. All u need to do is make sure that the volume is high to blast those speakers.
After representing with almost every nameable Artist in Germany,
Dean Dawson, Montana, DJ Desue, Ademola Okulaja & several other members of the Fam-base, founded a Record Company, a booking agency, an event & fashion label called Streetlife Entertainment, a multi-cultural combination owned & crafted by Afro-american, Turkish, German & African streetknowledge.
The first release was the Album "Streetlife Report", with productions by himself, Montana Beats, DJ Desue & the Frankfurt Producerteam Bock auf´n Beat. As feature Artists he came together with DMX, Afrob, Samy Deluxe, D-Flame, Joy Denalane, Vanessa Mason & other upcoming Artists to create a classical masterpiece...
Now, after several label releases, Dean Dawson is about to drop "06.06.06", another classic...& that on his B-Day...
