Quickly becoming one of the most recognized djs and producers on the American circuit, Dj Taboo has been gracing magazine pages, television broadcasts, and radio airwaves since the mid- 90's. Getting his start on the once popular Houston Richmond strip, Taboo went from itching bedroom scratch dj to one of Houston's most revered club connoisseurs and remix artists. With influences in rock and world cultural rhythms, Taboo gives the global audience something to look forward to with every performance.With roots dawning back to 1994, young Omar Espinola Aka Taboo bought his first set of Technic 1200's with months worth of saving 4 dollars a day in lunch money that his parents provided him. Today Dj Taboo is the founder and C.E.O. of Forbidden Rhythm, a company specializing in Artist liaison, Party Promotions, Photography, and Music/Video Productions. With over 2.2 Million Dollars invested in the company, soon to be traded publicly, Taboo is awaiting near future projects which will change the face of the DJ as an artist for ever.Many misconceptions have arrisen for over a decade as to what kind of dj, Taboo really is. Influences: I believe that I am in a deep state of sleep.... everytime I do something.... i am manifesting a dream that I have had...or am going to have. I am currently living my dream....and am currently looking to accomplish more with myself.
Sounds Like: Everyone....and no one. Music is so universal. If it is done right... it speaks to the soul of even the most hard to reach person. Some people are not good with words. Some people are not even good with people. But if a person has a soul, then I think that music will speak to them.
