It's not about me or you. You won't find the purpose of your life by looking within yourself. The truth/information about life as we know it, is out there and it all starts at the source, it all starts and ends with God -our mighty creator who is greater than the universe (and bigger than we can imagine!). To find out the truth you need to start with what is written about him, you also need an open mind that acknowledges your disbelief, that you don't have all the information, and that you could have been wrong all along. God wanted to reveal himself and has and is and will. Open your eyes and see the truth.

We are not accidents. Creation is just too well put together to be some grand fluke. As for evolution, take the theory from the start and look at it. Information science has never seen ANY information arise in matter by itself, on its own. So you have a big problem from the start of the theory of how information could have arisen to form the first "architectural plan" of a cell, to form the first cells. The second biggest problem is that under normal natural conditions, proteins break down, they do not form by themselves to then go on to form the basic building blocks of life. Life can only come from life, it can not come from non-life, pretty simple fact, amazing how it gets overlooked when people choose to ignore certain things for their own agenda. Say you stumbled upon a watch in a forest, it had no name on it, would you then assume just because it wasn't branded that it didnt have a maker, or that possibly all the parts came together without a maker? Naturally, the answer is no, of course it had a maker. So with the complexity of a watch compared to the complexity of the human body incomparable, why then would anyone assume we do not have a maker? We do not have GOD stamped on our foreheads, but we have eternity written on our hearts...A longing for something more, something to satisfy our souls, our lives, but money doesn't do it, relationships with the opposite sex don't even do it, is there nothing that can?...what is this longing within us? For some kind of connection, something deeper, something bigger?

We were made for a purpose. A man without a purpose is like a ship without a rudder. We were made for God and by God. Nobody chooses what they will look like or who their parents will be or where they will be born. These are all determined by God, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb" Ps139:13. He specially made you to live for eternity, to live life to the full, to grow to be like him in his perfect way, to give him joy and pleasure, and to live with him, forever.

Unfortunately, there is a problem. God is perfect, man is anything but (by his own free will). No one imperfect may go to be with him because of the difference between us -sin. He has given us a free pass to heaven. He has done all that needs to be done for us to become perfect because he doesn't want to see us depart from him. We must accept that Jesus Christ is the only way to God, the only way for our law breaking selves to be forgiven or we will die for rejecting him as the one who took away all our sin. WHAT IS SIN THEN?

Transgression of the law -the ten commandments plus Jesus' teaching. Law breaking. Unbelief. Turning away from Gods way. Turning our backs on God. Saying "not your way, but mine God". Denying God. Not seeking God. Ignoring God. Making a god to suit yourself; denying the true God. Rejecting Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Lying. Cheating. Murdering. Hating. Stealing. Mailce. Verbal abuse and all other manifestations of going your own way apart from God.

We are imperfect. No one in all of history has not broken ALL of these laws. We do not deserve to go to heaven. He can not let anyone go unpunished (and his punishment is severe), he is a perfectly just judge, who also hates to see anyone reject/refuse his offer to pay the penalty for our crimes for us.
He has written the get out of jail card for us. Only a far worse jail than we could imagine, a place of darkness, suffering and torment. We must take the card before we face the judge, for then it will be too late. And life is not a game to be throwing the dice and taking your chances with your eternal destiny by thinking you can justify yourself before a perfectly just judge with pathetic excuses like "you didnt reveal yourself to me"...did you ever truly seek? You will surely perish in your sin. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our LORD." ROM 6:23. "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." ROM 1:20

By now you should be well discouraged about becoming a Christian, "It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." HEB 10:31. It is not easy, it is the hardest thing a man can do to walk as Jesus did, but with God all things are possible! "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." MAT 19:26.
We will never be perfect in this frame. But God gives us the desire for righteousness, a new heart, a new life, a desire to do good; to follow His ways and keep His commands, which are not burdensome......"love the LORD your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind. And love your neighbour as yourself".
He stands at the door of your heart and knocks with a get out of jail card just for you.
