Twisted Autumn Darkness were formed in Norfolk in 1999.

The line-up consisted of Sathan (drums).Aeon (lead guitar), Namaste(guitar), Tenebrae on (vocals), Oskariot (bass), Mictian(Keyboards).

This line-up began writing and rehearsing , producing its own brand of melodic Black Metal.

In late 2001, the band went into the studio to record its material. They recorded songs for a demo EP, entitled "Darkness Rising"

The EP was released in January 2002 and was well received worldwide and stirred critical acclaim by the underground scene claiming new fans as well as reviews stating......“they're a breath of fresh air”.

Tenebrae and Mictian left the band In 2002 , Namaste took over vocal duties as well as guitar.

The now four-piece signed a deal with Def2Music in February 2003, though despite the changes in line-up regarding the loss of the original vocalist and keyboardist, the band stayed true to the Twisted energy. Blending their sinister guitar, inspired singing and songwriting they went into the studio in May 2003 to begin recording their full length album.

In October 2003 they released their full-length album titled "Destroy The Bastard & Trinity" on the Def2Music label.

The reaction to the album was nothing but positive, feedback has been amazing with such reviews as...... " Twisted Autumn Darkness have a wide range of influences and are not trying to sound like or imitate the leaders in the field, they are creating their own brand of extreme metal.

In 2004, Namaste and Oskariot left the band. Sathan moved to Norway. He is also in the band PANTHEON I who are based in Oslo .

In May 2005 Rongner joined the band as vocalist. We are now based jointly in England and Norway
